A Sustainable Future for Share and Repair Culture Webinar

Circular Communities Scotland’s Share and Repair Network is pleased to invite our share and repair members, and anyone else interested in the sustainability of share and repair projects, to join us for this engaging webinar.

Circular Communities Scotland Chair, consultant and author Naomi Johnson, will present the findings of her report commissioned by the Share & Repair Network looking at the sustainability of share and repair projects.

The sustainability report produced for the Share and Repair Network undertakes a review of what we mean by sustainability and its relationship to share and repair, before providing overview of options and interventions that could seek to support a sustainable share and repair culture across Scotland.

The report found there has long been a strategy for managing waste and making better use of discarded materials, but to date there have been few initiatives that deal with the issue of overconsumption.

Financial, service and environmental sustainability will be considered in this free online session.
