This year, our members have worked harder than ever under the intensifying pressures of the cost-of-living crisis to help protect our planet and provide for their communities.

Many have continued to be a lifeline to those in need, providing low-cost and sustainable alternatives to buying new, through reuse, repair, sharing and recycling. What’s more, they have continued to offer connection for their communities, tackling mental health, loneliness and poverty; and offering hope, meaning and skills through volunteering placements and training opportunities.

The difference our members make is almost immeasurable, but we will be sharing and celebrating the scope and depth of their work by publishing our 2024 Annual Impact Report on the day. We will also look to the future and envision the true power of our sector to help Scotland become a world-leading circular nation.
