Circular Communities Scotland Third Members Policy Briefing
Circular Communities Scotland is delighted to be holding our third and final Briefing Event focusing on the Scottish Government’s Circular Economy Bill and Waste Route Map Consultations.
Our first event hosted Ms Lorna Slater MSP, Minister for Green Skills, Circular Economy and Biodiversity, who provided an overview of the Circular Economy Bill Consultation process, while our second event delved deeper into our policy asks, as we heard from our sector peers, and worked to further improve our response as a sector.
This third and more informal Briefing Event will focus on bringing together everything we’ve learned throughout the consultation process with our membership. It will allow our members to view the draft consultation responses we have put together on their behalf, and to receive support with their own individual responses. These aims are split in to two main event sections:
1. To share some of our own draft responses to the consultations with our members.
2. To assist our members with their own draft responses and queries around the consultations.
To review our policy asks in advance of this event, please read our ‘Policy Paper for Scotland’s Circular Economy’ which we released in response to the consultation launch.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss the event in more detail, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
