Members Policy Briefing: POPs and Reuse Guidance

Join Circular Communities Scotland as we discuss one of the most pressing issues for reuse in Scotland. Attend our POPs and Reuse Guidance Briefing to make sense of SEPA’s new Reuse Activities and Waste Regulation Guidance, stay in the know and seek support.

Following SEPA’s guidance on the Management of Waste Upholstered Domestic Seating containing persistent organic pollutants (POPs), released in October 2023, the environmental agency has now released its Reuse Activities and Waste Regulation guidance. This new guidance outlines procedures and best practises for managing POPs found in these household items, like particular flame retardants.

Circular Communities Scotland welcomes SEPA’s updated reuse guidance and understands the need to support our members as shifting regulatory practises change the reuse landscape.

This event is open to all Circular Communities Scotland members, and other bodies engaged with the circular communities sector in Scotland. Sign up via the registration page and view our agenda.
