Scottish Repairers Forum – information and Q&A session
Are there questions you would like to ask other repairers in Scotland, or perhaps some expertise you’d like to share? The team at Remake Scotland Repair Hub would like to help.
Volunteers from Remake Scotland are building an online discussion space for the staff and volunteers of repair and sharing projects around Scotland, to swap skills and expertise to support each other. Our Share & Repair Network is delighted to support this initiative.
This online information and Q&A session will showcase some of platform’s features and seek your feedback about how we can create a practical and well used forum.
The forum will be built on modern forum technology (discourse.org) and is widely used for other online communities (eg discussion.fedoraproject.org or forums.developer.nvidia.com). It’s very flexible, and has many useful features that can help the share and repair community to keep in touch. We envisage it would be great for a whole variety of different topics, such as the current issues surrounding the end of support for Windows 10.
The forum is expected to launch in February – March 2026.
