Circular Communities Scotland (previously CRNS) is a small but rapidly growing national charity, doubling our staff (now 9) and turnover (c370k) in the last year.
We are a membership network with a vision for a thriving circular economy in Scotland with local communities benefiting from the social, environmental, and economic outcomes. With a growing membership of over 250 charities, social enterprises and community groups we are always looking for new ways to support the reuse, repair and recycling Third Sector and see our vision become a reality.
As an organisation we are strongly committed to staff wellbeing and our current CEO is taking a career break January – August 2024. We are looking to recruit an interim CEO to cover this period with a brief overlap at the start and the end.
Circular Communities Scotland is a thriving charity with a strong track record of delivery. We are looking for an interim CEO who can support the staff team and wider organisational stakeholders during this period. This is a caretaker role, so a case of evolution rather than revolution. We are also looking for someone who can get up to speed quickly so some understanding of the organisational context (membership body, circular economy) is required.
We are determined to get the right person to join our strong team which is why we are open to exploring different options regarding place of work (office, hybrid or home-based) within Scotland and able to visit our Stirling Office. At all levels of the organisation, we are strongly committed to staff wellbeing, equality, diversity and inclusion.
