Circular Communities Scotland is delighted to announce our 2024 awardees of our Pockets and Prospects Fund designed specifically for our members.

The “Pockets and Prospects Fund 2024” is a £6,500 micro-fund which has been made available by the Scottish Community Alliance, to help our members deliver a more circular economy within areas of significant socio-economic disadvantage, while relating to their core purpose as an organisation. For 2024, the specific focus is to support communities with current cost-of-living pressures.

We received over 30 applications to this years fund, and were overwhelmed with their quality and scope of ambition. The awards process was extremely challenging and we’d like to extend a huge thank you to all of our members who applied.

We particularly welcomed applications from smaller member organisations who may not be as experienced with making funding applications and for whom this micro-fund would be more accessible and significant. Where two applications are of equal merit, priority was given to the smaller organisation.
