Circular Communities Scotland is thrilled to announce that several of our members have been recognized as finalists for the prestigious Social Enterprise Awards Scotland 2023. These awards celebrate the incredible work and impact of social enterprises across the country, and we are immensely proud to have our members in the spotlight.

Circular Communities Scotland Member and Environmental Social Enterprise Award Finalists

We are excited to sponsor the Environmental Social Enterprise Award for the second year in a row, recognising the exceptional efforts of social enterprises contributing to our environment and wellbeing. Congratulations to our members who have been shortlisted for this coveted award:

We’d also like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Grassmarket Community Project for their volunteer Janie Conlon, who has been shortlisted for the Volunteer Champion Award, and to Merry-Go-Round Glasgow‘s Rajkiran Atwal, who is up for the Employee Champion Award.

Market Builder Award Finalist – The Reuse Consortium

We are also delighted to share that our very own Circular Communities Scotland project, the Reuse Consortium, has been shortlisted for the Market Builder Award. This award acknowledges organisations that actively create more opportunities to buy from social enterprises. The Reuse Consortium allows Local Authorities, Housing Associations, and other public bodies to access quality assured reuse furniture and household goods from local providers, promoting a sustainable circular economy.

Save the Date

The Social Enterprise Awards Scotland ceremony will take place on Thursday 30th November at the Scottish Parliament, where we will celebrate the remarkable achievements of all the finalists and the hard work and dedication of Scotland’s inspiring social entrepreneurs.

We’d like to thank everyone who has supported and shared news about our members and their incredible work.

Stay tuned for more updates and join us in celebrating the impact of social enterprises in Scotland!
