Circular Communities Scotland is delighted to welcome a new member of staff to our team.
Nicola Aeberli joins us as our new Reuse and Consortium Coordinator. Our Reuse Consortium is an established circular business, with a fresh new look that aligns with our main company rebrand. We are really excited to bring Nicola on board to ensure the consortiums continued success in this new era of our organisation.
Nicola says:
“I am thrilled to join the Circular Communities Scotland team as the new Reuse Consortium Coordinator. I believe that building a circular economy is one of the most effective ways of tackling the climate crisis, as well as creating resilient and thriving local communities. This has been the focus of my career to date, where most recently I oversaw the planning and delivery of reuse and waste reduction projects at SHRUB Coop, including a surplus food redistribution network spanning the whole of Edinburgh. Previously, I managed zero waste youth initiatives in Vancouver and Berlin and supported the development of a women’s soap recycling micro-business in Bali.
I am excited to get to work supporting and growing the Reuse Consortium at this pivotal time following the rebranding of Circular Communities Scotland, and I look forward to meeting and working with the Consortium members who have made the Consortium such a success so far.”
